Richard is an Actuary, Team and Systemic Coach. He previously held senior positions in the financial services industry as Chief Risk Officer and Director of Enterprise Risk Management for Europe.
He is qualified as an executive, team, and systemic coach at Henley Business School and is passionate about helping individuals, teams, and organisations build effective cultures to maximise performance through cognitive diversity. He works closely with technical people to help them become more effective leaders and incorporate a people-focused mindset.
He has been a senior volunteer in the actuarial profession for the past decade with the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries and the International Actuarial Association, helping develop the actuarial profession in areas of the world where it is not as developed.
Richard holds degrees from Glasgow and Oxford University and is accredited by the International Coaching Federation.
