Richard is an Actuary and qualified Coach. He previously held senior positions in the financial services industry as Chief Risk Officer and Director of Enterprise Risk Management for Europe.
He qualified as a leadership and executive coach with Henley Business School and is passionate about helping individuals, teams and companies build effective cultures to maximise performance through cognitive diversity. He works closely with technical people to help them become more effective leaders and incorporate a people focussed mindset.
He has been a senior volunteer in actuarial profession for the past decade with the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries and the International Actuarial Association, helping develop the actuarial profession in areas of the world where it is not as developed.
Richard holds degrees from Glasgow and Oxford University, as well as being a member of the Institute of Board members, and the International Coaching Federation.
