Bill McCall is an experienced international Company Chairman, Investor and Advisor and has worked with, and for, a range of private equity investing organisations in the last twenty years. He has chaired over fifty such businesses in the UK, North America and Nordic Countries, also bringing considerable knowledge of international energy markets as a specialism.
Bill, a recovering investment banker, is the Principal of a strategic corporate finance advisory business. He was elected an individual member of the London Stock Exchange in 1990, is a Chartered Fellow of CISI (Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment), a Chartered Banker, and Fellow, as well as Past President of the Chartered Banker Institute. A near miss as an opera singer led to his subsequent banking career.
He is a Freeman of the City of London (allowing sheep to be driven over the bridge), Liveryman of the Worshipful Company of International Bankers and Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts.
Bill resides in Scotland with family when they aren’t travelling. As a bit of ‘fun’, beyond professional CPD learning, he is reading for a Master’s in Twentieth-Century British History, covering the period 1890 to 1980. The latter part being defined as ‘history’ was a surprise to him.
